The Designers Network exists to promote design and designers to business
Every buying decision we make as consumers is influenced by design and yet the power of design to differentiate a product or service is frequently underestimated by businesses.
Whether it is to render a product more visually attractive than its rivals, or to present a service offer more professionally, design is a key factor.
The Designers Network exists to promote design and designers to the business and domestic communities of Essex and the East of England region. The Network aims to demonstrate the benefits that organisations can enjoy from utilising design effectively to further their objectives.
The Designers Network aims to build a strong community of designers from all disciplines by promoting creativity, excellence and professionalism through training, education and shared experience.
The core activities of the Network will be:
- Training and Education – keeping Essex designers at the forefront of developments in design software technology, design trends and small business management techniques.
- Business development and promotion – developing collective ways to promote members’ services and find new clients for Essex designers with joint promotion through events and the network’s website.
- Public Relations – promoting the role of design to businesses through network events and the website, by publicising design successes and project case studies carried out by members
